おすすめの写真共有サイトを紹介してみようかな。
実はかなり有名なんですが、日本では案外知名度が低いので。
ZooomrはKristopher Tateという17歳（現在は19歳だったかな）の少年が作り上げたサービスで、世界的に写真共有サイトではFlickrが有名ですがその上を行く機能を搭載した、なかなか先進的なサービスです。
やはりFlickrに負けず劣らず多くの言語に対応しています。
もちろん日本語にも:)
Zooomrのサイトの中にはtwitterのような機能も搭載されており、コミュニティを大切にしている姿勢が伺えます。
そして本題の容量と転送量に関するお話。
ネットを検索しても少し古い話題ばかりなので、拙い英語力でZooomrのサイトの中を見て回った結果
容量 は 無制限。
転送量 も （おそらく）無制限。
Zooomrにも有料アカウントが用意されていますが、写真をより多くの人に見てもらいたい人向けの機能強化だけと思うので無制限の容量・転送量は無料アカウントで利用することができると思います。
もちろん画像ごとに全体に公開や友達・家族のみや自分だけと言う設定が出来ますし、面白い機能としてスマートセットというのが用意されています。スマートセットはタグや投稿日などから自動的にセットを作る機能で該当する画像が増えたときには自動的に追加されます。
（ただし、全体に公開されている画像が一枚でもキーワード無ければならない。
無料アカウントでも元画像で表示することが出来ます。
明らかにFlickrよりも条件が良く、Picasaよりも容量の多いZooomrですが弱点というか、個人的に気になる点はスライドショーが用意されていないこと。
LightBox2によるプレビューは用意さていますが、かなり小さい。
残念ながら大きなスライドショーが出来るFirefoxの拡張機能やgreasemonkeyのスクリプトも用意されていませんでした。
これを改善してくれたらPicasaなんて目じゃないのに･･･
あと、アップローダーが無い。
スタンドアロンのソフトがないだけで、Webベースのアップローダーが性能が良いので問題ではありません。
あと、APIが公開されているのかいないのか･･･
公開していると見せかけて、公開していないような雰囲気です。
少々癖が強いように思いますが、
容量 は 無制限。
転送量 も （おそらく）無制限。
という点においては他の追随を許さないと思います。
多くの人が使ってくれれば改善されるかな!?
